That big yellow block seems so familiar to me and I can't tell if it just stuck in my mind from these episodes or if my school might have actually had one. As a kid I was fascinated by foam rubber (but who wasn't?!), and I think this block was made of foam. Maybe my fascination has just led me to focus so much on it, I've come to believe I've actually seen it in real life.
