I tried Cheese and banana way back when I first saw this episode and it became a childhood favorite. I used to really like Monterey Jack with a banana, but nowadays I'm more about Colby Jack. What- don't you trust Chef Brockett?!!
That Lady A song is so pleasant and catchy. While most of Fred's songs are appealing, there are some that really stand out as really hummable. The Lady A song is one. The other that I love is "A Handy Lady and a Handy man (In a museum go round that swings!).
I tried this when I was little as well. I have been eating bananas and cheese ever since. I always credit Mr. Rogers when someone asks me about it. My son eats it this way now too.
I started eating bananas with cheese when I first saw this episode and my younger brother and I have both been eating them this way since. Can't get my wife to try it, but I swear by it and tell everyone where I learned it.

Ans who could forget "Owl Correspondence School, Dear OCS..." My favorite! I taught myself to play it on the piano.
I asked everyone in my family if the would try that, they were all like, "That's so Gross!!!"
