I never realized watching these episodes when I was little how simple a set the workshop is. It's litereally the workbench, a wall of tools and a door. The rest is just black curtain or something on an empty soundstage. It's kind of a strange creepy dark look for a kids program, walls that just aren't there.
I like when Fred's straps are on his eyebrows, and Bob's line "Looks like you got some new eyebrows there"- Fred catches on quicker than I would expect had it not been planned, but I'm not sure if it was or not. COuld it have been something that occured in rehearsal and they decided it would be entertaining to repeat it?
And lastly- A super funnel. Just one of the many odd things that made this show slightly bizarre even when it was brand new.
