Long after the older operas stopped airing, this episode was great to see because of the glimpse it showed of those older shows. Windstorm remians one of my favorites- I probably saw that and Spoon Mountain first. But Windstorm has some very pretty melody's, and Handyman Negri makes a pretty creepy villain. I'm a bit surprised that his role isn't really addressed. Fred makes a few mentions over the years about how an someone in a costume is still himself, but it almost seems like he should have said "even though you see Handyman Negri behaving mean to the other neighbors, he's only pretending". I guess I figured it out, but as Fred was always so clear on what was pretend and what wasn't, the opera's "pretend inside of a pretend" may have been a bit confusing.
