This episode contains an odd line by Lady Elaine, one that I always suspect had more of a story behind it than the viewer every got. When she first appears and is told that tomorrow's weather "will be perfect too", she says, "That's not what my friends in Rockland tell me. They tell me tomorrow will be far from perfect in Bubbleland". Where's Rockland? Just another province of the world in the opera I guess. Still, as it's the weather being discussed it reminds me of an old novelty product I've seen that was a weather telling rock. The gag was that you put the rock outside and if it was wet, you knew it was raining, if it was hot you knew it was sunny, etc... Probably totally unrelated but like I said, the obscurity of the line peaked my curiousity.
