BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. -- It's been almost four years since we first reported that Oakland-based Family Communications (AKA The Fred Rogers Company) had begun development of a new kids' television series based on the same values the late Fred Rogers brought to "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood."
