It was neat seeing the Frogg family in this episode. I don't remember too many references to them after they moved to Westwood, but maybe there were more than I remember.
Drew -- I think the same thing. I don't remember much about the Frogg family but I'm wondering if maybe they were on the show more frequently than I recall from my childhood.
All I remember of the Frogg family is in the episode where Westwood is building a sandbox, Mrs. Frogg is there and has the most annoying voice imaginable- so exaggerated as to be almost indecipherable.
More great news from the Mr. Rogers Company! The e-mail newsletter talked about the episodes released on Amazon, and they said MANY MORE WILL BE RELEASED ON AMAZON IN THE COMING MONTHS! Wow, I really hope they have "All in the Laundry" and some of the other older operas.
A side note is that Hedda Sharapan did Mrs Frog for the cbc Mister Rogers wqed version and 20 years of Mister Rogers neighborhood from 1968-1988 even if Mrs Frog was not on the neighborhood from 1979-1987 her voice was used on the secret week 1596 to 1600 and the Frog Family was talked about on making and creating week in 1986 on that one Mrs Frog made a heart shape cover for the bell at the MGR hope this all helps your neighbor Lawrence
It sure is fun to see Mr. Frogg and Tadpole. I wonder why the Frogg's voices aren't credited. Like Lawrence, I thought Hedda Sharapan did Mrs. Frogg's voice for more than just the Secrets episodes.
Of course, Wikipedia isn't always the most reliable source for accurate information, but it credits Fred Rogers as the voice of Mrs. Frogg. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mister_Rogers'_Neighborhood#Characters
That would make sense, considering they were on Misterogers prior to MRN and all of those orignal puppets were voiced by Mr. Rogers. Looking on the credits of Secrets (1596), Hedda Sharapan is credited. I wonder why they changed voices.
she dose the voice for Mrs Frog in program 1402 1403 1407 and 1408 so she at least did those voice's he did have others on hand to help him over the years and Hedda was on 1179 in the bakery after make-believe and before Fred goes back to his house it's one that you can buy on amazon as a dvd or a on demand video your neighbor Lawrence
