Fred makes comments about not wasting food in one of the wedding episodes too, or rather through his script, Lady Aberlin does. It's the episode where they are planning Betty Templeton's wedding and she mentions that you shouldn't waste rice by throwing it. Not that I would deliberately waste food but neither of these instances would seem objectionable to me.
I've heard that too, Vickie. I've seen birdseed, rosepetals, and bubbles. It's really neat to see behind the scenes of Make Believe. I think I'll buy the two seasons on Amazon that have the pre-79 episodes.
Can you believe I haven't even purchased any yet! I went to Best Buy yesterday and spoke with a super nice young employee who showed me the Google Tv system made by Logitech. He pulled up a few classic episodes at Amazon VOD through it and we watched a few of the previews. I had MRN playing in Best Buy! The unit came with a keyboard and small box to access the internet through the television. Price tag $300. Any advice? It did look pretty cool and hoping after Christmas the price might drop a bit? Anyone have experience with this particular system?
You're way ahead of me, Vickie. I'm doing well to just use a computer! I'm not much of a technical person, and I was just going to watch the videos on the computer.
Drew, if it were only me, the computer would be fine for me as well. It's my 6 year old daughter that I want to have the full experience of being able to just watch on the telly, casually and just soak it all in like she used to. Her body-clock is ticking. Before I know it, she'll be a preteen! If you have a chance, I hope you can try the demo of the Google TV unit. It seems like it will work. Now just hoping for some after-Christmas dollars.

Rice also kills the birds because it swells in their stomachs and ruptures them. I haven't been given rice to throw at weddings in many, many years.
