This article is right. We need Mister Rogers now more than ever. I hope Public television doesn't get canned. This was Fred's whole reason to get on television. He wanted to treat children not as a product, but as a friend. I miss him.

PBS deserves to get canned after relegating their patron saint off the air in favor of sorry programming that they can merchandise. Besides, their over-the-top bias should be privately, not publicly, funded.
