Wow! Great photos- I don't suppose you found out who actually made the non people models did you? Was it really Bob Trow? They hold up really well even up close.
Where are these models now? Are they in storage, or at the Fred Rogers Center?
Eric -- I didn't ask about who made these. I'd be curious to know myself. May have to look into that sometime soon.
Steven -- These are currently in a display case inside the Fred Rogers Company offices.
I never knew there were models of the characters and people. Interesting.
So fascinating to see all the models up close. Could you tell what they're made of?
Could you post a picture of the whole case?
I remember This case 20 years ago wish my family took a picture of This if I remember right this case was just out side of Fred's office at the time of my visit there was a Robert Troll figure and a plan wall since all other parts were on the set they only thing I did not see were the tracks I the who thing was put together there are other figure I did not know who they were in this case I do know that week of fun and games is where the figure's came about there were two sets of figure one set seen on 1485 competition in make-believe and the other set on 1602 and 1605 Fun and Games in Mister Rogers house and other times from 1989 to about 1992

There really are a lot of figures, far more than I ever remember seeing. I remember the main group of characters, as Lawrence says, being shown in the Fun and Games week, especially Randy Caribou, but they even have figures of James Michael Jones, Betty Templeton, and John Costa. The Purple Panda one looks very good and so does Bob Dog.
Francis -- Unfortunately, in all of these pictures, the one thing I didn't get a shot of was the entire display case in one picture.
