So, Audrey Roth appeared in Make Believe exclusively at first, and then as Audrey Cleans Everything in '71. I would have just assumed she did both simultaneously.
Would you happen to know the final date when this was broadcast on PBS? I seem to remember seeing this episode when I was a child, long about 1989 or 1990 or so.
don't forget that Costa played the phone music for MISS PAULIFICATE since the first program on Feb 19 1968 in fact it's all most like he is introducing us to her for the the first time in both the real and the pretend neighborhood there is a line that he says on this program before make-believe about AUDREY ROTH you know Audrey reminds me of what Paulificate might be in the neighborhood of make-believe you know Miss Paulifcate King Fridays telephone operator and the other line is why don't we pretend that Audrey is Miss Paulifcate ok I think that might be fun. I hope this helps your neighbor Lawrence
mrmeadowlark, without googling it, 91 or 92 is about the time that the older episodes were pulled from broadcast, so there's a good chance you did see this around the time you mentioned.
Yes I know they stopped airing Pre-79 episodes altogether after August 11, 1995, but I also seem to think that after the early 90s or so, if they aired any pre-79s at all, they were mostly from the 1975 season (Margaret Hamilton's Visit, the "Key to Otherland" opera, and such). Out of all the pre-79 eps I remember the 1975 Episodes the most fondly because they were heavily reran when I was a child.
