Here's another clip from Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood that I came across. This one features Daniel and his mother as Daniel prepares for a visit to the doctor's office.
Thanks for posting! My kids are going to be so pumped for another clip! We already watched the other one multiple times :) When I told my three year old it doesn't start until fall, he said, "OK, Let me sing a song about that. . .Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, SATURRDAAAAY, seven days. . .the week has seven daaaaayyyyysss. . .(confused pause) um, Mommy, when's fall?"
My daughter really liked the Opening sequence- I'll have to show her this one too. And she's 8. She would probably never choose to watch Mr. Rogers anymore, she's got so many other shows she watches, but if I'm sneaky and put it on, she does gravitate towards it. And whenever Fred is talking seriously about something, I notice that he has her full attention.
TL, I know what you mean. . .It's called "lasterday" at our house a lot of times. :) Eric, I am with your daughter on the opening sequence. . .it pulled me in and I am 32! :) And I am going to be sneaking Mister Rogers in on my kids forever. . .I think they are going to need him even more in elementary school!

I was thinking about this at work today, I bet Johnny Costa would cringe if he heard these melodies!!!
I'm more inclined to think he'd be extremely proud that Fred Rogers' message is being brought to a new generation of children!

Jen -- While we've also got the days of the week down in our house -- we're still working on things like "yesterday night" and "tomorrow-day."
