Someone was selling the original artwork from the planning stages of the 1974 Festival of Many Things activity book. Free shipping with an opening bid of $0.99.
Cool. This would be a great piece of Mister Rogers history to own.
With a few hours left, the bid was up to $76 which took me out of the running. But it was the amount of the winning bid that blew me away.

If your eyes can't quite adjust to the small print there, let me assure you, you're reading it correctly.

I love this for one main reason. The next time my wife gives me a hard time about buying something I don't need, I'm going to show her this. Advantage, me.
If the winning bidder happens to be reading this, get in touch with me sometime. I'd love to know more about the person who dropped that kind of cash on this item (plus, I'd love some close up shots of this stuff).

Holy Cow!!! That's a lot of money. . .I am now intrigued by who bought it, too!!
Yeah, I said on Twitter, someone spent more on this than my family of five spends on food in a month!
Tim, that piece IS amazing. Wow. And the final price. CRAZY.
I would love to see closer pics of it. It really does look nice.

For reals, TL! That's more than our food budget, too!! :)
