
Miss Emilie stops by with a poem about growing written by a young friend. After sharing the poem, Miss Emilie encourages viewers to write poetry of their own and shares a verse of her own.
In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Aberlin is dressed as "Mary Mary quite contrary" and is pretending to water the flowers around the Neighborhood. She and X the Owl play a game where Lady Aberlin guesses who he is pretending to be (Benjamin Franklin).
Henrietta Pussycat shares the exciting news that the Dr. Bill and his wife will be moving to the Neighborhood today. Joining Robert Troll near the Frogg pond, everyone awaits the arrival of their new neighbors.
As Dr. Bill and Mrs. Platypus arrive, they are introduced by Robert Troll before explaining that they would like to find a hole in the ground to live in. X invites the Dr. and Mrs. Platypus to stay with him until they can dig their hole.
Robert Troll joins Lady Aberlin as they continue "watering" the flowers.
Back at the house, Mister Rogers shows that plants do not just grow above the ground but they have roots as well.
