Episode 0031 [1968]

Original Air Date: April 1, 1968

Having gone to the zoo over the weekend, Mister Rogers talks about wild animals as he shows models of each animal. He uses wooden blocks to build a fence around the model animals.

Mr. McFeely stops by with Pedro, a Mexican parakeet, which he takes to the kitchen. Mister Rogers feeds the bird some bread before taking him from his cage. After Pedro takes a nervous nip at Mister Rogers while sitting on his shoulder, Mister Rogers sings What Do You Do With the Mad That You Feel.

In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Handyman Negri helps Daniel scratch some new stripes as they talk about Handyman Negri's desire to perform for King Friday. Putting on his formal attire, Handyman Negri is properly dressed for a royal performance. Daniel helps calm Handyman Negri's nerves by reminding him to Be Brave Be Strong. X the Owl tells Handyman Negri that his formal wear makes him look like a puffin before listening to him practice the song he will play for the King. Henrietta Pussycat provides Handyman Negri with a flower for his pocket.

At the castle, Handyman Negri is preparing to perform for King Friday when Edgar Cooke interrupts with news that a lady in distress is behind the castle being followed by a red monster.

Back at the house, Mr. McFeely returns to pick up Pedro before Mister Rogers sings a little more of What Do You Do With the Mad That You Feel.

Looks like you are on the "Digger Digorrum and the Temple of the Red Monsters" story arc.
