Mister Rogers arrives with some name tags which he was asked to make for Francois Clemmons' music class. With a few left to make, he goes to the kitchen where he writes names on two name tags before watching a film about different types of people.
Miranda Sewell, one of Francois Clemmons' students, stops by to pick up the name tags for her class. She talks to Mister Rogers about the class before he accepts an invitation to visit to the music studio for himself.
Inside Mr. Clemmons' studio, Mister Rogers watches as Johnny Costa plays music and Francois Clemmons takes part in a variety of musical games and activities with his young students.
Returning to his house, Mister Rogers uses two wooden blocks to talk about rhythm.
In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Francois Clemmons is at the castle where he teaches Queen Sara to sing Everybody Has a History. Mr. McFeely stops by to listen before he delivers a purple dress to Lady Elaine Fairchilde.
According to the purple platter, Lady Elaine finds that people do not talk to owls on Planet Purple. As a result, she refuses to talk to X to Owl. Continuing to refer to herself as "Pauline," Lady Elaine puts on her new purple dress and clearly frustrates Mr. McFeely when she calls him "Paul." When she refers to Francois Clemmons as "Paul", he talks about how much he likes being himself and sings a song that someone on Planet Purple might sing.
Back at the house, Mister Rogers talks about being proud as you grow and the importance of each individual person. He watches a film about children as It's You I Like plays.
