
In 1976, as the United States was celebrating the bicentennial, cities across the country took pride in their own small contributions to the country's 200 years of existence. I can only assume that the ceramic stein seen here was part of the local Latrobe celebration.
With a sketch of Mister Rogers on the front, the text below reads "Mister Rogers" with "PUBLIC TELEVISION" underneath. On the back you can see a logo representing the local Latrobe celebration. In smaller print, under the logo, the text reads "LATROBE, A BICENTENNIAL COMMUNITY."
